Love God, Love People

Another pendant release brought such special pieces to the Madison Sterling line! These pieces have special meaning to me and I'm excited to share a sweet story about the design of one in the coming weeks. But with Valentines coming up, I think the heart just has to be our highlight, right? 

 My prayer is that this Heart piece is a reminder of God's perfect love and the example He gave us of that perfect love. I Corinthians 13:13 says, "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." The interesting thing about love is that it must be demonstrated in order to be felt by others, making it an action. Let's be honest, it isn't always easy to love like the Father. Some are easy to love and some ... not so much. Aren't you thankful that HE gives us the ability to love? Even more, He allows us to see, feel and be changed by the miracle and fruit of that love.

A favorite quote of Francis Chan is ... "Do you know that nothing you do in this life will ever matter, unless it is about loving God and loving the people He has made?" The reality of that quote challenges me to shift my priorities every time I read it. Not only the shifting of thoughts, but the turning of my eyes back to Jesus. He is the Source, Creator, Perfector of love. Maybe love really is all we need!
